who was born with Hyper-Plastic Left Heart

The Day My World Stood Still

I hurried to the hospital like so many days before

Just to find you playing and crawling on the floor

Your eyes so bright and your arms stretched wide

For me to hold you once more

In my arms you played giving your sweet kisses away

I just did not know God was Fixing to take you away

With in a few minuets you where rushed from there

To spend your last hours in intensive care

As your Mommy and I kneeled and prayed

The word had come God was calling you home today

They placed you in your Mommies arms

I was holding you both so tight

When I heard mommy say to you, baby its ok

You gave a good fight

Go home to be with Jesus

He will make you whole

You will run up and down the streets of gold

Grandma and grandpa will be waiting on you there

I promise Granny and I will see you there

With tears falling down my face

Your life was gone with out a trace

        The only comfort was knowing you where seeing Gods face

That was the day my world stood still

Lord only knows how much I miss you still

I love you baby and always will
