Did you know that God loves you? Well He does. No matter what you have done, who you have hurt or where you have been, Jesus loves you. He loves you so much that 2000 years ago before you ever sinned Christ died for you.

ROMANS 5:8
But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Yes, you are a sinner, but God. Yes you failed, but God. Yes you were abused, but God. But God!

Here are seven simple steps that you need to understand in order to become saved.

Steps to Salvation

1 The fact of sin.

ROMANS 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

This means from Adam, on down through history, everybody has sinned, including the preacher. The only one who has not sinned is Jesus.

2 The penalty for sin is death.

ROMANS 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In Ezekiel 18:4 God states; behold all souls are mine; as the soul of the father so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth it shall die.

Death is eternal separation from God.

3 The penalty for sin must be paid.

HEBREWS 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.

Mankind owes God a sin debt to be paid on Judgement day. Will you be ready when Judgement day comes? God has made a divine appointment with you to judge you for your sins. Revelations 20:15 states and whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

4 Christ paid the penalty.

ROMANS 5:8
But God commended His love toward us and that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Jesus Christ has already paid your sin debt.

5 Salvation is free.

EPHESIANS 2:8,9
For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Salvation is a free gift from God. What good news? We are saved by grace. Grace is undeserved favor. God saves you simply because he loves you. You cannot save yourself. God alone is responsible for the salvation of human kind.

6 You must receive a gift in order to have it.

St. John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God even, to them that believeth on His name.

When Paul and Silas were in prison for preaching Jesus Christ, they started singing praying and praising God around about midnight, God sent an earthquake in response and loosed everyone's shackles. When the keeper of the prison saw all this, he asked Paul and Silas: "What must I do to be saved?" They told him, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and thy house."

7 Confess with Your Mouth.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

When you receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior you must confess your sins and repent of them or turn in the opposite direction. You then must make a public confession of your faith in Christ.

Prayer For Salvation

Dear Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins. I turn from my sins and I turn to God. I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and save me. Jesus, forgive me of my sins and save me right now. I trust you, I love you, I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for saving me. Fill me with your precious Holy Spirit and make my life brand new.
